TOUR UNEXPECTED VERONA

A tour of Verona through hidden alleys and picturesque courtyards to discover the Cathedral district with its precious cloister and architectural complex, where we will see how Verona stone takes the shape of fantastic animals and biblical tales, and follow the evolution of art from the late Roman period to modern times. 

After a coffee break in the shade of a leafy vine that grows in the heart of the city, we continue along the river and in the Veronetta area we visit the city's green oasis, the Giusti Garden, one of the most beautiful examples of 16th century Italian gardens.

Its green architecture reflects the philosophy of the Renaissance, inspired by the ideals of perfection, beauty and geometry. On the parterre there are fountains, statues of deities and a maze of expertly trimmed box hedges. 

The colour green dominates in all its shades, and the eccentric cypress avenue leads up the hill, from where there is a spectacular view over the rooftops of Verona.
